Thales and Schiebel Demonstrate the Future of Uncrewed Air Systems Across Land and Maritime Domains

by EDI Editorial Staff

Thales in collaboration with Schiebel has successfully demonstrated the future capabilities of Uncrewed Air Systems (UAS) during an exclusive live demonstration including the first UK flight of the Schiebel S-300.

The demonstration highlighted how rapidly evolving autonomous technologies can enhance mission capabilities and enable greater flexibility for armed forces in complex operational environments. The deployment of the S-300 demonstrated how a modern uncrewed VTOL platform can be combined with advanced sensors, autonomy and mission systems to deliver capability across land and maritime environments.

Throughout the week, Thales showcased technologies relevant to the Royal Navy’s continued development of uncrewed aviation through programmes such as Peregrine, as well as the British Army’s Land Autonomous Collaborative Platform (Land ACP).
