MatrixSpace Launches FUSION-360 Affordable Counter-UAS Sensor Integration Platform

by EDI Editorial Staff

MatrixSpace has introduced FUSION-360, a cost-effective sensor data integration system designed to enhance counter-unmanned aircraft system (C-UAS) operations. The new platform aims to simplify how multiple detection technologies work together, delivering a unified and real-time airspace awareness picture for operators confronting evolving drone threats.

FUSION-360 functions as a centralized data fusion engine, integrating inputs from radar, electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) cameras, and radio frequency (RF) detection systems into a single operational interface. By correlating and processing data from diverse sensors, the system provides operators with a consolidated view of aerial activity, enabling quicker identification and classification of potential threats.

One key advantage of FUSION-360 is its affordability and modular design. The system integrates seamlessly with both existing and newly deployed sensors, reducing the need for complete infrastructure overhauls. This makes it particularly suitable for organizations seeking to strengthen layered airspace protection without excessive procurement costs. Open architecture and flexible interfaces allow compatibility across a broad range of counter-UAS ecosystems.

The platform leverages automated data fusion algorithms to match radar tracks with visual and RF signatures, significantly reducing manual cross-referencing by operators. This automation enhances response times and improves overall situational awareness, particularly in complex environments where drones may attempt to mask their presence or operate at low altitudes.

MatrixSpace positions FUSION-360 for deployment across military installations, border security operations, critical infrastructure sites, and large public events. In a layered defence framework, the system can serve as the integration backbone between detection sensors and mitigation tools such as jammers or interceptors, supporting informed and rapid decision-making. As drone technology becomes more accessible, effective sensor fusion is increasingly critical to counter-UAS strategy.
